What is drawing?
A drawing can be a standalone, complete work of art. It is a universal means of expression and one of the most important factors in visual arts. We know several ways of drawing: sketch or croquis, study, detailed drawing, and experimental drawing, to name just a few. Artistic drawing is the basis of other forms of artistic creation – graphic design, painting, sculpture, architecture, and design – and therein lies its significance.
We assume you are here because you've always been drawing. If the blank paper challenges you to fill it with a pencil, chalk, charcoal, or pen, you are in the right place.
What knowledge will I gain?
You will master various methods, genres, and techniques of drawing, including drawing portraits, figures, and compositions. In graduate drawing studies, we view drawing as the practice of a visual language, which is subsequently refined and applied within the realms of painting, sculpture, graphic design, new media, and design. In the Experimental Drawing course, you will gain the necessary knowledge to independently define your personal visual language and apply newly acquired experiences to your own artistic explorations.

Resources and working atmosphere?
Drawing classes take place in a modernly equipped classroom where you will draw from art reproductions, skeletons, and live models. Classes are held in small groups, in a creative and relaxed atmosphere, respecting the individuality of each student.
