Glowing Globe, Artificial Intelligence Art, Rijeka 2024
Glowing Globe is an international manifestation and exhibition dedicated to new media art and culture,taking place in Rijeka, from October 16 to 25 in the Kortil Gallery, the symposium and screening at the Akvarij, University of Rijeka, October 17 and artists talk October 18 at the Academy of Applied Arts, University of Rijeka.
Glowing Globe, which has been held continuously since 2019, brings together international artists, scientists and theorists to present the latest trends, but also pioneering endeavors in media art and theory, from the beginnings of digital art and computer graphics to works created with the help of artificial intelligence, virtual and augmented reality, as well as methods of using 3D technology and NFT.
In addition to dealing with technology and ethical and aesthetic issues of artificial intelligence, the manifestation explores ecological and bioethical topics, the issue of originality and interchangeability of artistic disciplines.
The symposium is also available online and open to the public via Zoom.
